We are trying a new approach to rehearsals, by holding longer monthly sessions instead of weekly evening rehearsals. The goal of these longer days are to help build community and to facilitate learning music together, while recognizing that ongoing weekly sessions can be difficult for a variety of reasons (work schedules, levels of energy, child care, etc). We will share a lunch hour (potluck or brown bag, tbd), because eating together, like singing together, is a great way to build our community.
In addition to the Saturdays, there will be some optional ‘office hour’ style drop-in sessions on certain weekday evenings (schedule tbc) for those who would like some extra help learning/reviewing between our monthly meetings.
Concert
Sunday, April 14, 2023 - in the evening.
Location
Rehearsals location is to be confirmed, but will be centrally located.
Fee
The fee for taking part is $100 to help cover the cost of music, venue rental, accompanist, and other incidentals. This is payable at the first rehearsal or by email transfer.
If the fee is a barrier to you joining the choir, please get in touch and let’s work to find a solution.
